same way you remove your cycling shoes from clipless pedals, its a bit more difficult because you dont have a lot of leverage.

Insert a small flat blade screwdriver and pry the binding mechanism away from the plastic platform while twisting the platform. It may also help if you loosen the tension on the binding mechanism first.

Usually you just need to twist them to the side and they'll click off
