Most likely you will never see those guns again. Canada has very strict gun laws. I do not agree with most of them but they are still the law.

I am assuming Toronto Canada, you may never see them again unless used as evidence they ussually destroy them. It comes down to why they were taken by the police. Canda changed some guns to the restricted list, and the gun registry made criminals of legal gun owners but mostly long guns. If they were taken without charge your rights were violated. Fight back, start at small claims court the cheapest route. But without knowing the facts I cannot give you a clear answer.

Why were they seized? Contact the police department and ask. If they say you can't get them back, then get a lawyer and sue. The problem with that is that the cost of a lawyer could be more than the value of the guns.
