Congrats on getting your birds !
Unfortunately, 3 birds is not advisable. 2 of them will pair up and attack the 3rd one. Lovebirds are fine in a male/male pair. It's the most likely situation to succeed without injury. Female/Female is very risky due to territorial issues. Male/Female will produce many chicks provided they bond and accept each other.
Lovebirds need a yearly checkup with a qualified avian vet plus fresh food, big cage and lots of interaction. They can live well into their 20's so the previous advice of 7 years is way off base. My oldest is now 19 and fit as a fiddle!
Continue feeding them the foods they are already used to. Make sure they get 12-14 hrs of dark sleep conditions per night. They will want to bathe frequently. They can be noisy at morning and again at dusk. They can be messy and they love to drop all their food into their water dishes. They can't eat grit or gravel as it can kill them by impacting their crops. No onions, chocolate, avacado or sugar and salty foods. They will molt their feathers 2-3 times yearly and you'll find tons of feathers everywhere. They can bite HARD if they are upset or angry or worried. They need their wing feathers trimmed professionally each time they molt if you want to be able to handle them. Lets see, what else.
OH, use plain paper towels in the cage bottom under the cage grid so you can best monitor their droppings. A sick bird will have a change in stool and you can see it very quickly. If your cage doesnt have a cage grid on the bottom, they will shred all the paper and make one big mess. They need fresh water 2-3 times a day. They can't kiss you or any cats/dogs/rabbits you might have. Human and animal saliva is toxic and can kill a lovebird within 72 hrs if not treated.
I think thats' about all for now....
Hope this helps !

These beautiful little parrots deserve more education than you are giving them . They are the wee brother of parrots but nonethe less very beautiful . Why 3 ? And yes they do mate for life but no they don't die if one dies , don't buy 3 to ensure a happy family , 2 males is bad , also same for 2 females , you must give them big space and nesting to sort themselves out , aviary I mean , once 2 pair off it might be possible to let lonely 3 to find a mate in the babies after a spell , traceability is a big thing in breeding , don't let family get in the family way , makes for crap stock and lessens the breed. Can I advise you to join a local club and gain experience first or at least very quickly. They are wonderful and live long parrots.

I have two lovebirds i have not had them long they was a gift from nan. They are active and have a loud personality you should give them a varied diet in order for them to stay healthy about one fruit and one veg a day will be good and give them a multi vit supplement. Dont mix them with other species.
