You should take a look at Picasa, from google.
It maked special featrures for printing, like collage.
I use for printing 6 pictures on a A4 paper, so it's easier to show to my friends.

You should use the printing program of your printer. Check the cd of your printer and install the software. Get the latest drivers of your printer via website support of your printer.

adobe cs2 is by far the best out of the ones listed because you cant edit the photos as well ... it also costs a grip

Paint Shop is the best too me. I have tried them all and always go back to Paint shop

it is not a program you need, but a good photo printer like the hewlett packard c3100 series photosmart photo printer
