Starting with a good sourdough bread, put on mustard, mayo, lettuce, thin sliced onion, at least three varieties of deli meats (chicken, turkey, roast beef), two kinds of cheeses (jack, cheddar, colby, swiss), lettuce, tomato slice.

Another favorite - whole wheat bread, mayo, cranberry sauce, turkey, cole slaw, swiss cheese. YUM.

Italian bread

Then get pastrami, thinly sliced pepperoni, genoa salami at the deli counter (not the prepackaged stuff in the deli meat section.)

Provolone and white cheddar cheese from the deli also.

Very thin sliced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, banana peppers.

Mix about a 1/2 of a cup of mayonnaise and Italian dressing together and spread on both halves of the bread and cut on a diagonal. Wrap it up with saran wrap!

Perfect sandwich!

If you're eating immediately, try to toast the bread. It makes a huge difference. If not, try to microwave, even a couple of seconds, to warm and soften the bread and melt the cheese. Using a variety of meats is always nice. Depends on what kind of a mood you're in, you can add different meats. If you're in a more seasoned/spicy mood, pastrami, salami, and peperoni with some pavalone cheese is a good one. Add lettuce, tomatoes, and veggies as to what you like. I always like adding mustard for more flavor. If you like a stronger taste, adding a dash of salt and pepper, vinegar, olive oil is good too. I also use a dash of Mrs. Dash, it's a good seasoning. I always add this in my tuna, too. Add whatever you like and it'll be personlized just for you. =D

Some other things you can add: cucumbers, pickels, carrot slivers, different dressings (ranch, caesar, italian, etc), different cheese, meats, (mix and match), random seasoning, different mustards (spicy brown, dijon, etc). Also, try different breads, use croissants, bagels, baguettes, ciabatta, etc.

YUMMY!

I do this for my hubby. He likes turkey and ham, so I put the cute deli sliced kind on either white or wheat bread with some miracle whip and different slices of cheese, like American and pepperjack, then some romaine lettuce and a slice of tomato, (I sprinkle a little salt over the tomato) then I serve it on a veggie tray with carrots, celery, grape tomatoes, with a container of ranch veggie dip. He hasn't complained.

Try a honey peanut butter sandwich. Put some PB on the sandwich, put a whole bunch of honey and you got yourself a meal!

Make it the way you like it and then put Hoagie Dressing on it. They sell it near the deli section at the supermarket. If you do not see it ask the guys behind the deli counter. It really makes a sandwich taste special!!!!
