It's supposed to mean two people who have sex without having a (romantic) relationship.
However, in most cases, one has actual feelings for the other, and will do this just to be with them in some way.

Your friend is saying that she is friends with a guy and NOW she's going to have sex with him---with NO commitments. She's using him to get off and he's doing the same with her. It's hard to make the "friends with benefits" thing work-- usually one person in the mix wants more but the other doesn't. Warn your friend she could be wasting time on a guy that just wants her body for a bit-- I'd hold out for a guy that wanted a relationship before just "Giving it away"....

Friends with benefits only means one thing. That you are friends that can have sex with one another but without being emotionally attached. Which in my opinion is the stupidest thing ever because you'd have to be a robot to not have emotions but whatever floats a person's boat....seriously though it means all the benefits of a relationship just not the emotional and mental ties that an actual committed relationship has.....you conversate and sex.

Having a female friend who is OK with having casual sex without any thought of having a committed relationship. She could even be a roommate and share expenses and household choirs. It would take the pressure off the need for sex. To all outside observers, you could appear to be brother and sister. Both could date others, but refrain from sex with others because of the obvious risk involved. You and your friend would have to work out the details of your arrangement.

It is exactly what it says, a friend with benefits. A person that has the same sexual privileges that a b/f or g/f would have, but without the emotional ties. But it isn't a very smart thing to do.

It translates to RUN...run very far away. Friends w/benefits (hooking up w/o being in a relationship and not intending to) NEVER WORKS. One person likes the other a little more which always leads to issues whether it be forming a psedo-relationship in your mind or getting jealous if your "friend" hooks up or dates someone else. Honestly, your friendship will never be the same if you do this...DON'T DO IT!

Who gets all the benefit's?I think it's just a one-sided thing.This title must have been made up by a man.It makes a woman a easy-whore,without even a good"thank you".It's another way..another title..don't do it.It makes a woman cheap.Stay away from any guy who wants to hang this on you.Nothing good about any of it.

Friends with benefits to me means that your friend is going to sleep with this guy whenever he or she wants too without getting emotionally involved. This way she can see other people while she is having fun with this guy.

That they only hang out with u 4 ure money or u have something intresting that they like that u have!!!!! Or maybe U have lots of guys in back of u & thats why they want 2 hang out w/u!!!!!!!!1
