I am becoming INCREASINGLY aggrivated. Many people percieve all christains as "too overbearing" with spreading their religion and "crazy" "Morons" "stupid". WE ARE NOT ALL THE SAME!!! Not all believe in the crazy twisted beliefs made by the ignorant jerks who want to give a bad name to the intelligent and conciderate real people out there. Case and point: One questioner asked about being raised taught that "Halloween is the devil's birthday". One answerer commented "Hahahahha crazy christains". These comments make me sick. Not all believe in that, it is hard to create accurate representations of religions that are thousands of years old. The vocabulary was different back then, even as it was say 100 years ago. Now some teens say "sup" and "hey", and 100 years ago it was "hello" and "good evening". Thousands of years ago, there probably weren't even any records of accurate definitions of their vocabulary words. Thousands of years can also take it's toll on written facts, not to mention

It is this ignorance that constantly aggrivates me day in and day out. Living in a mainly-christain community, I am happy in real life. I log onto Yahoo! Answers, (a fine internet forum, I might add) and go to the religious section finding 5 more insulting, tormentingly tauntful religious comments directed towards other people's beliefs. LEAVE OTHER PEOPLE'S BELIEFS THE HELL ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT FOR IT TO GET THROUGH THE THICK SKULL OF TODAY'S SOCIETY?!?!?!?? That is one more problem I have with the war in Iraq, just leave their religion alone as long as they don't try to kill thousands of innocent people in one fell swoop. I apologise deeply for any insulted, but I need to vent. All of you 32 year olds living in your mother's basements need to get a reality check. Wipe off the black nail polish guys, (yes, there is a kid in my school that wears black nail polish. It's creepy...) and everyone get along for ONCE.

The king james version was translated in the sixteen hundreds, and their vocabulary was different.
since then there have been new translations that use modern language.
but to your original statement, it is true that WE ARE NOT ALL THE SAME!!!
We get put in a category, much the same as ethnic groups do.
and then there are the non believers that get the same kind of treatment, because some children get on here and their vocabulary consist of mainly, dumb, stupid, and crazy, to name a few, if you just thing of them as children that were brought up without manner it makes it easier to understand them.
others are just trying to get under your skin, if you let them do that then they win.

I was with you up until the black nail polish the living in the basement and kids in your school yet you are 32 years old.
One should leave other ppls religion alone. A spiritual belief is personal and between them and their higher power no matter who that may be. I take acception to the Christians that usually reply on this site. Note I did not say all. They are rude, self centered, not interested in anything other than their own ideas and speaking with each other. They ask questions and within them insult others and quite frankly do not in my mind represent the Christ that they profess to believe in. In cases such as these I cannot say that I blame anyone for the snide comments and biting back. They are out looking for a fight and if they can't win they go crying to their mommies (figuratively). I am tired of being told I am going to hell, I am tired of them saying that nothing else counts, I am tired of them telling me that if you aren't Christian, you worship the devil. My point is the same as yours to a degree. There seems to be no respect. There is no tolerance. There is no compassion, love or willingness to thoughtfully explain ones point of view. They judge but refuse to be judged. If this is the impression I perceive then how can they expect to win converts if that is indeed what they are trying to do. I do not resent them trying but I do resent their condemnation and separatist attitude. I think that if they do not want to be confronted by or acknowledged by others for how they are percieved by those ppl then they should go elsewhere to chit chat amongst themselves. Others, and I mean those from all other aspects of the spiritural world, are also not alike, and will not go away just because they want us to. I will attempt to be civil but will not hesitate to give as good or better than I get if provoked. Now, my venting is over and I hope you understand.

I understand and share your frustration. When people who don't claim any faith in anything comment with ignorance, I try to consider that they are here for a reason and if it is only to heckle... maybe they will inadvertently get something more out of it. I could not understand why people who believe in nothing come to this forum and was quite upset by some of the nonsensical babble that spew forth from that lack of belief in anything. It is not for me to judge why a person is here. Praise God that you are here and ignore the rest... if you can. Take heart; but a little while and God will make the judgment. Ignorance in any forum can be frustrating. Just know that we do see some who actually give some thought to their answers and questions and some are better than none. God bless you. Amen.

We aren't all the same. God created us all differently. And not all Christians are like that you know! I'm one. I try to spread the Gospel, but I don't shove it in people's faces. Nor do I see all Muslims as terrorists and killers. Most of them are really nice people.
God Bless! Have a great life being different!

Do you put as much effort into condemning the Christian fascists as you do condemning the people that dislike your religion because of these people actions? I suspect not, I have seen no posts on this site by Christians doing this!

I'm sorry if I was one of those who made you feel bad tonight.
I don't object. As a bi Pagan woman who loves another woman, I am a frequent target of people calling themselves "Christian." I have to work hard not to become what I hate.

Calm down, it's just Yahoo Answers....for entertainment purposes only. Quit taking it so seriously, it's not like you're gonna die over someone else's OPINION. You're entitled to one too you know, you don't have to agree with anyone on here if you don't want to. But you don't have to get so pissed either, what a waste of emotions!!!

I see that you are only 13, and therefore are entitled to get a little upset, but really, calm down. Remain intelligent and tolerant and people will not give you a hard time.
