I'm 17, just graduated from highschool. Due to several circumstances, I missed joining the college I've dreamt about for so long.. I joined one that is totally far from what I even like and I'm worried about my future..
The education isn't great there either, many end up jobless..
Anyhow, my problem is: If a like persue my dream (take extra courses and all, will take much longer) is it possible that all could work out?
I mean, do you think there's still hope?!
Please share your expertise, I need advice ...
P.S: My dream was to study I.T. or any computer-related studies but my field now will have to do with Physics, Chemistry or Advanced Mathematics.
Thanks =)

There is always hope, nothing is curtain but that there will be a tomorrow. As for me, I graduated from HS, went to college as a Chemical Engineer. The university I went to was very large especially compared to my HS. My first class had more students then my graduating class. Even though I was in the top 5 students at my school I struggled and left that school for Jr. College. Spent 5 years taking classes, and never got my bachelors degree. Got a job, married and had 2 kids. Finally I got my bachelors degree when I was 40, and my masters when I was 50. Now I teach HS math and love it. I would not change anything, I am very happy with how everything worked out. Life is just one very big lesson and you need to learn and be happy with where you are.

there's always hope-disappointments and stumbling blocks along the way, but consider them growthopportunities--good luck
