1 lb = 3500 calories. What you really need to do is alter your everyday eating habits not go on a fad diet. keep track of what you are eating everyday & what exercises you are doing. Losing weight can be painless if you just walk a bit more by parking farther away, taking the stairs ect. Stop drinking soda, even diet. Most coffee drinks & sandwichs are killers too. Ask for a listing of ingredients so you can see what is the best choice. You can still have snacks, replace the chips n salsa with green & red peppers n salsa. Replace the mayo with mustard. Stop eating foods that contain high fructose corn syrup, your body can't metabolize it = weight gain. A few simple changes can make a huge difference in the long run.

Here's a free online journal you can use.

No diets really work. A diet actually means changing your eating habits for a bit of time to lose weight. I think the best program out there is Weight watchers. It teaches you what to eat and what not to eat. The point system works great and helps you maintain after losing too. Once you lose the weight you know the goods and bads of each food, also knowing what you can eat but making a sacrifice for something else. It works really well and educates in the same time.

Believe it or not eating works. I lost 64 lbs. in 4 months. By eating small meals 4 to 6 times a day . (eating healthy foods is also key) Each time you cause your stomach to digest food; and make digestive juices. You are actually causing you metabolism to speed up. This increases and your body starts digesting your food and using it more effectively. This decreases the way your body stores fat. Watching your carbs; drinking plenty of water to help keep you full and digest food the food you do eat faster. Also thier are certain foods that you can eat constantly and it's good for youand does not matter such as grapes, fresh fruit and veggies . Believe it or not meat and cheese are two of these foods they have no carbs and are ok to eat any time. If you think that this sounds crazy just try it . It really works and you never go hungry.

It is better to have a diet that fits you personally instead of one for the masses. Don't eat after 8, try to cut out sugars slowly add more veggies and friuts, eat about 4-5 times aday to get your metabolism up. Small meals or snacks. Drink plenty of water and cut out breads. you know what you need to stop eating, also exercise at least 5 days a week no less than 30 min.

A diet that will work is one where you eat healthy foods in smaller portions 4-5 times a day.

Exercise at least 5 times a week for 30 minutes

Drink plenty of water.

If you do this for the rest of your life your weight will be what it's supposed to be for your age, height, and body type.

This is Weight Watchers plan and it really works....I'm proof.

yes. Listen carefully. Count every single calorie you put in your mouth for a week (a normal week where you wouldn't gain weight). Do your best to even count one bite of something. Try using www.calorieking.com. Then once you have that total, during the next week eat at least 3500 calories less than that, and you will lose one pound a week.

For example, say you consume 14000 calories a week. Next week, eat only 10500 calories and you will lose a pound. Cut it down another 3500 and you will lose 2 lbs.

It takes a lot of calculating, but it really really works.

To lose weight you need to burn more calories then you take in. Short term diets are useless. Successful weight management requires a lifestyle change. Find out what your body can handle and what it can't -- I find that a low carb way of life works brilliantly for me, but it may not for you. Trial and error. Good luck.

Eat healthy and exercise daily for a minimum of 30 minutes....if you need to know more just do some research...its been proven. I would recommend taking some form of martial arts like kickboxing or muay thai.

^ It's a LIFESTYLE change that helps you with eating habits and exercise. All you have to do is change the way you eat and exercise. It DOES work. And it's free, so you can try it out and if, for some weird reason, it doesn't work, you don't have to keep doing it.
