I have a pretty decent Idea. I don't know every decision that was made in that council but I know the Nicea Creed which outlines the Trinity in possible the most ambiguous document ever was written during this council.

The council of Nicaea was to go against the heresy of Arianism which denied the divinity of Jesus. This council also produced the Nicaean Creed which is said in different Christian denominations. God bless.

It was the committee of lunatics who vainly synthesized the teachings of Jesus Christ with a wide variety of popular pagan motifs and ideas from across the Roman Empire.

thankfully I do! it is the basic fundamental of Christianity - whether Catholic, Lutheran, Baptist, etc.
"I believe in God, the Father the Almighty, creator of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ His only Son, Our Lord. who ws conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary....."
God Bless!

...wrong question, though good.
How many christians believe the God of the bible(kj)
It does not matter what a creed says, but what the word of God declares.
yes, the council agreed on a single issue of the trinity
well...thats been in the bible(1JOHN5:7)
THE FATHER, THE WORD(BIBLE/JESUS-BTW),THE HOLYGHOST.
THESE 3 >ARE< 1.
TO NOT BELIEVE THE BIBLE WORD FOR WORD WOULD = NON BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY(THE TEACHING OF CHRIST)...
SO THEY WOULD INFACT NOT BE "CHRISTIANS"
GOD BLESS YOU AS YOU SEEK THE TRUTH-LIVE4TRUTH=]

What about Athanasius and other early trinitarian church fathers? More Christians know about their history than you might suspect...
