No one made us join the military. I joined because I want to be in Iraq. I have two small children and a husband in the Marines with me. I paid attention in boot camp and my husband is highly skilled in recon. It will be very hard to kill me and I feel sorry for the person that attempts it. I am happy to die if it will prevent in any way or amount my son being at the top of a sky scraper when the plane crashes through, and he feels he has a better chance jumping from hundreds of feet to his death. If you think sadam had nothing to do with it... maybe you should open your eyes before you open your mouth. I knew what I was getting into, and was happy to do it. I have paid for my childrens education with my Gl bill and I am not even 23 years old yet. The Marines have paid for my bachelors degree and will continue to pay for my masters while I am enlisted. How would you feel as a tax payer if I didn't work for all that.

Are you aware that its impossible to fight a war without suffering causalities and fatalities?
Approximately 1 American dies of a traffic related incident every 12 secs, and 90% of these incidents never made it to the news or any other form of media.
America is fortunate to have men and women who are willing to take risks and made sacrifices to keep our country safe. Just because the United States has the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean as a buffer doesn't mean that war won't hit home. If that's the case, September 11 won't have occured and all the insults and abuse hurled at President Bush would have been a moot point.
We are lucky we aren't sharing a common land border with our enemies like Israel does, because if that were to happen to us, those anti-war folks would be worrying about whether their bomb shelters need extra reinforcing and their glass windows need bulletproofing.

Maybe all this is too complex for the liberals to understand. Let's try something else.
Can you win a round in chess and still keep every single piece on yourside on the board?

Are you aware that your statements do nothing but incite anger, frustration and hatred? You're quantifier that you're sorry we react the way we do is ludicrous. How else would we react to this type of question? We can all read the papers, and watch the news. Those of us in the military are well aware of what is going on. We don't need your idiotic "questions" to reiterate something that we already know.
If you have a question about the military, then ask it, but PLEASE keep your negative views out of here. YOU are not helping the moral of our service members in this time of crisis.

First, it's a war and unfortunately, our best and bravest die in wars so that you can have the freedom to complain. Second, one little action I was in in Viet Nam called Junction City II cost a whole lot more lives than that in one day. Three, I am fully invested in this thing as I was in Viet Nam because my eldest Grandson is a United State Marine. I'm proud of him and I'm proud of the job he's doing protecting YOUR rights. Like him, I think we're better off fighting the terrorists over there than over here, and if you can't see that, I'll say a prayer for you.

Another cut and runner. Compared to warfare just over 60 years ago, you could have 38 GI's killed in a second. We are winning, but liberal idiots continue to aid and give comfort to the enemy by constantly spewing how bad we are doing. The reason there is no Tokyo Rose type propagandist during this war is because the enemy doesn't need one - they have the liberals here spewing all the propaganda for them. When are you going to stop preaching for our enemies (remember them? They're the ones that fly airplanes into our children)?

Are you aware that it's a war? Lives will perish in times of war. Besides, do you not consider the fact that lots of people die everyday even though they arent fighting over in other parts of the world?
Think about car accidents from drunk people, they kill someone and they always live. Both people in that situation could have been doing something better like fighting for our country.
In other words, these soldiers are dieing for a cause. Not just by some drunk on the road.

Are you aware that 43,443 US citizens died as a result of traffic accidents in 2005?
Countless others have been injured. When are you and other people going to stop taking our children (and their children) to different places in cars?

Out of 140,000 Americans 1,120 die each year. That's just more than 3 per day or 30 per every 10 days. On most months the national average has been higher that the Iraqi death toll. So why doesn't the U.S. pull out of the U.S. It's just so dangerous!

When we accomplish our mission. I joined the army two weeks ago. Why? now is the time my country needs me. I may disagree with your lack of support, but I am willing to die so you can have the right to say what you want. Burying your head in the sand is not the answer in this situation. The war on terrorism is being fought on foreign soil. If we leave now, it will be in our cities and streets. If thats what you want......
