I don't think Christians are dumb, I do however think that some people need religion. They need the rules of living a so-called clean life and the guidance. I myself am still trying to think whether God exists or not and I always get to a point where I can't get any further with my search for answers. Did you know that apparently even Darwin himself thought there must be something greater than man at work with nature because everything worked so harmoniously? Anyway, I think people need religion because without it they have nothing to follow and everybody (whether they care to admit it or not) needs to follow something. By the way - fair question offensively asked!

Not too long ago, atheists claimed that the Bible was wrong because it states that God created everything out of nothing. Atheists said that this was impossible and believed in the "Steady State Theory". Essentially, they believed that everything had always exsited.

Science has more recently discovered that the universe did have a begining which they call the "Big Bang Theory." They had to admit that the Steady State Theory was WRONG!

Of course, this is only one example and I could write many books on the mistakes that science has made over the years.

Sir Isaac Newton was a devout Christian who wrote thousands of pages of commentary on the Bible. This alone proves that a thinking man or woman can be a Christian.

Because our God does not want us to aquire intelligence . that is why he forbode us fromeating the fruit of the treee of knowledge , Ignorance is bliss for us .We know that even those scientists who said that the earth was goeing around the sun was right scientifically . But we do not like the scientists to b emore intelligent that our god who believed that that the sun was going around the earth . The sunb should also have eaten the fruit of the tree of knowledge and when Jesus raises everybody from the graes and takles allthose living , he will take the sun also and consign him to hell only for proving the God wrong . No one should know better than our God . He blew into the nose of the man only after making him .God forgot to blow into the nostrils of the animals; but still they started breathing without god blowing into their nostril s.That is why God punished them and took away souls from the animals . We are not able to answer the questions the atheists raise despite out eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge. it looks that even on the Day of judgement the Atheist would raise questions that our God would find it difficult to answer and the priests whose soul would be there would not be able to assist our god with the necessary ionformation to answer the questions of the Atheists . . How do you think that we can not be angry with them under the circumstances? Scienc is not required for the after -life in heaven whre it is just drinking and spending time with our heavenlyspouses only .Who needs science. God created the world without knowing science , he made the earth and put it in the middleand put the sun at periphery to go around the earth , but the the big bolus of the sun rolled down to the center without god noticing it and pushed the earth to its edge to go around the sun. next time god will make the sun go around the earth.you will see.it .

You have a very wrong idea about Science.
Nothing is "proved" in Science.
We have theories that we believe explain our observations, but we do not know when, or if, new observations may be made that are incompatible with those theories.
You cannot say that Science "proves" anything.

Compare a science textbook of 2006 with one for 1906 ... or anywhere inbetween.

As Christians, our knowledge stands up against those of atheists because He Who laid the foundations of the Earth tells us what He has done.

I think that an opinion is just that, and no one has the right to poo poo the opinion of someone else. If everyone was more accepting of the fact that everyone has a right to believe what they want to believe just maybe there would be a lil less trouble in the world?

Even granting the validity of your data, which seem wholly uncontrolled (for example, for socioeconomic bias): all arguments for Christianity can be dismissed a priori because certain members of certain groups which advocate these arguments are statistically likely to be of lower intelligence than their opponents? I thought scientists evaluated arguments on their merits.

Funny thing you should ask. New information has been found to support the actual landing of the ark on MT. Ararat. And studies on the shroud of turin support evidence of christ's burial and subsequent resurrection. If you would like to say you think Christians are wrong or blind that is one thing but we are not dumb.
