All right, so my guy friend asked if I wanted to do a duet with him for a school choir audition. We both sing fairly well, I must admit, BUT NOT TO BRAG, I DO have more training than he does. So, we want a song that's kind of easy, but fun to sing. Preferably Broadway style, something from a classic show. I don't think we want it to be TOO girly, but I guess it can be a love song. Maybe contemporary pop or something modern, but that also has a Broadway-type tune to it. If you have any questions, I'll add more details!

"A Whole New World" from the Aladdin soundtrack. It has male and female parts, an easy melody to follow, and since you have more training, you can church up the girl's part.... it's a little more intricate anyway.

I don't have a good Broadway-type song for you. Many of them are over the top vocally and if he has less training than you, it might be best to stick to pop.

A fun one that would probably make people laugh would be Nothing is too Wonderful to be True, from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels or a more serious one is As Long as You're Mine from Wicked.

I think you should do "As Long As You're Mine" from Wicked. It's easy, but still sounds awesome. Have fun at auditions!
