whats this mean, please help?
ok about a month ago, i spilled my guts to one of my friends, told her that i like her alot, and all this stuff, shes only 13. well she wrote me back and said she hasnt ever seen us as more thanfriends, and that she dont like me like that but she dont want it to ruin our 8 year frendship.. well..over the past month, I've been avoiding her, simply for my sake, just simply not to bring those feelings back up, cuz when I'm around her they all come back. but she emailed me yesterday, and said she was sad, becauze it was straining our friendship. and she wants things like they used to be, well i told her why i had been avoinding her, and she said she totatlly understood why. well, I know she dont like me like that now, but am I crazy to think there mite be sumthin in the future, cuz she was obvioulsy ( she said) she was really sad, seeing us like this, and since shes only 13, am i crazy to think there mite be sumthin in the next year or two? she also said, " dont take the rejection to heart

and for those who say, I am punsihing her, I am not in any way. We have had very friendly discussions, and she understands why, things have been this way. And I have reassured her, promised her, that I will make things the way the used to. Do u really think I want to lose the friendship as well? I mean, that hurts.

I mean, its not like I'm ugly, I'm very atractive, and so is she. I mean I'm fit, I play varsity baseball, and am only a sophmore, It's not like I'm a geek or anything. And the same with her, she is very good lookin, has guys hitting on her all the time, and is on the national swim team, I just dont know what to do, cuz i swear to god i love her more than anything in this world

i mean i just cant get over her, I have never in my life, liked anyone, or felt so strongly for somone. Believe me, this isnt a crush, I have had many, but htis is more.

At 15 I am sure you think that this is the love of you life. You will have others believe me.You have known her since she was 5 and you were 7 yrs old. It has been 8 yrs. Youre still young. Things might happen in a few years. Right now it doesnt seem like you can move on. It can happen. I can understand that its hard being around her and not being able to be with her. Continue to be her friend just dont hang around her as much still call, text or send emails.Just dont stop being her friend.

She's 13.
But besides that: she now KNOWS how you feel about her, and even so, she still talks to you. She MISSES you! that means right now she wants to be your friend and only your friend.
But she wants to BE your FRIEND!
Ask yourself; do you LOVE her? or only LIKE her in a romantic way.
TRUE HAPPY and LASTING COUPLES ARE FRIENDS FIRST... never forget that.
If you LOVE her, dude, give her a chance to get to know you better. Don't stop being her friend just because she doesn't want to be your girlfriend, that's NUTS.
Maybe you'll have a chance in the future, maybe you won't. But what is it that you REALLY want?
Think about it? Love? or you'd rather kiss her than hug her?
You're 15, it's time to be a man and take it. You may NEVER be her boyfriend, you need to understand that, but what do you really want from her?
Be honest.
Be brave.
Do the right thing, dude. You know what is in your own heart.

You obviously won't forget the feelings you have for her. Maybe she'll change in the future so be patient. If she is worth it then give it a year or two. If not then move on. But for now, I'd just keep my distance if I were in your shoes. Its only gonna drive you nuts if you try to get constant attention that she won't give. Good luck man. Best wishes.

Dude, you need to move on....she will never fall for you if you keep acting like this. Get a life, go do something, make new friends, join new activities. Just think of her as a friend and nothing else. Soon, you'll find somebody who is right for you.

Just remember that you are young and there is a lot of life to live. I had a friend in high school we were real close but she never wanted to date in fear of ruining our friendship, today she is my wife.
Be patient live life remain friends If it was meant to be it will happen but don't pass on other opportunities.

lol your like me suriously am 14 and almost all what u said is what am going through its been 3 months and is getting worse and am almost crying now and everything and she also likes me the same way and she is like a super model! but she is only 12 and stuff but still i know how u feel man... it hurts..but thats life and be lucky u r who u r instead of one of those poor kids in africa

dude, she's 13. she probably doesnt even dress her self yet, let alone think about a relationship. ffind a girl closer to your age, get experience on how to be in a relationship, and by the time she gets in high school, she'll want to be with some one older, then is your time. until then, patience, it is a virtue, and look into other girls who are old enough to date.
