When I was a kid, I remember getting this candy: round, about half the size of a golf ball, came in peppermint, butterscotch and cherry flavors, with a texture like a very porous peppermint stick. Almost like a meringue - they were hard but would melt on your tongue. Anyone know what I'm talking about? What are they called and where do I buy them? Thanks!

Oh man, I remember those...my grandmother always had them at Christmas; for some reason the peppermint ones always gave me a headache! You could probably go to any good confectionery shop and get them around the holidays or call up one you know and ask them to make them; they'll know what you mean!
