Creamy Peach Pie. Crush up Nilla Wafer cookies in the bottom of a pie plate. Then place whole Nilla Wafers all around the edge. Slice up approx. 6 fresh peaches (pealed) and set aside. In a separate bowl, mix two packages softened cream cheese, two cans of sweetened condensed milk, one tablespoon lemon juice and one teaspoon vanilla. Mix all until smooth and creamy. Fold in fresh peaches and poor mixture into pie plate. Refrigerate at least 12 hours (best overnight). Enjoy!

The key difference between sweetened condensed milk and milk is that it is *condensed.* This means that it is very thick. If you can, you should just go to the grocery store and pick some up, it's pretty cheap. I would have to see your recipe to tell you if milk would make a difference. If it is cooked on the stove then the ingredients make a HUGE difference in how your fudge comes out. If it is an "easy" fudge or a "no bake" fudge then you may be able to squeak by, just be careful about how much milk you use so that it doesn't get too watery.

3. remove from heat and add vanilla.

Insanely easy fudge:
1 bag of chocolate morsels.
1 can of sweetened condensed milk.
Vanilla.
Nuts.
Pour morsels and sweetened condensed milk into a microwave safe bowl. Nuke until chocolate is melty enough to stir into the milk. Add 1/4-1/2 tsp vanilla and chopped nuts of your choice (optional, but cashews are amazing in this). Pour mixture into a shallow square pan/or dish lined with wax paper. Place in refrigerator/freezer until hardened. Cut into bitesize squares.

I just saw an episode of Ham on the Street on Food Network in which George Durand made Dulce de Leche by simply boiling an unopened can of sweetened condensed milk in water (he actually put it in the water in a hot dog cart) for three hours. When it was opened, it was aparently delicious with no further preparation, and he used it as an ingredient in a trifle.
