What to do when you absolutley hate your father?

My father is sooooo mean to me and i hate him he just lied to me on the phone and he always yells at me what next! im never good enough for him!

did somwonw just say date! lol

well ive tried to talkto him about it but its a argument everytime and he just wont listen to me!

I understand this, it's a hard one. Are you living at home? Don't know your circumstances so it's difficult. If you're living at home with him just kind of stay out of his way and stay occupied with some interests, not too much else that you can do.

Some day you will grow up and be out of there. Some day he will die, and you may come to understand him differently than you do now. Whatever, its not YOUR fault! My mother was mentally ill, my dad was a BAD person, and I somehow survived. In the mean time deal with it as best you can, one day at a time. If you need outside help GET IT NOW.; don't wait.

Try not to hate him. We all do things differently. If he tells you "no", it's probably for a reason. My dad & I didn't get along either and I had TONS of guilt after he died. That was in 1979 and I still think how badly I treated him. I just keep asking God for forgiveness. You are lucky to have a dad.

Don't bother with it for now. Deep down, every parent loves their child. He probably just has been stressed and having hard times with his job. Just don't be too harsh on him. If it continues for a long time-and I mean like years time-then that is when you can take it into action by confrontation and then-if you hate him enough-ignoring and refusing to be close to him.

I can totally sympathize with you on this one. He's such a jerk, evil mean, and so nice to my sister. I tried telling him how he makes me feel, but that's always a very bad thing, so I finally just started avoiding him at all cost. If I can't avoid him I am polite and make it seem like everything in life is great. He leaves me alone a lot more often if he thinks everything in my life is great and I'm suceeding on my own. Hate is such a strong word. I suggest you trying to bring in a third party that could perhaps intervene and establish some kind of common ground, like a counsler or another family member such as an aunt or someone. I think its sad when parents get caught up in their own lives that they forget that their kids have feelings too. Keep your head up sweetie, I hope it gets better for you.

Dont hate him becuz hate will kill YOU! Believe me, he is not worth it. Forgive him becuz thats all we can do. Forgive him becuz we all seek forgivness. God says: You must forgive to be forgiven.
My father neveer looked for me so I grew up with out a father, I used to hate him sooo much but then my mom told me what I just wrote and it was killing me softly, all the hate was killing me

It seems like your Dad might not be happy w/ himself
therefore he can't be happy w/ you no matter what you do.
maybe he's upset or depressed w/ his life right now, that's how people who are that way act .

first of all you don't really hate your father but you are quite upset b/c you don't see eye to eye. You need to try talkign to him about your differences.
