omg i was at school and my brother was watching him and i got home and my brother was listening to music and then my dog threw up and i looked my brother left his oatmal on the ground and there was some around my dogs mouth. wat should i do??? plz help!!! zoe

As long as it's done throwing up, you should be fine. Oatmeal isn't really good for dogs but it sounds like he solved his own problem by puking.

Your dog will be fine. Oatmeal is good for dogs. He probably threw up, because he wasn't use to it.

why does your brother leave food laying around? thats gross...nothing is going to happen the dog will be fine i would throw up if i ate oatmeal too

my pup had parvo and the vet never told me that. she said she knew it was a costly process and we had just paid almost 600.00 to another vet because our little girl had pneumonia. she said we could try to treat him at home with her help. but towards the end he had to stay at the clinic to be treated and he lived. the vomiting and diarrhea were so bad and even with us giving him fluids at home it just wasn't enough. I can't understand what giving herbs are going to do for parvo. don't wait until its too late to treat your dog...get some vet care. add: I also wanted to add you need to spray your entire yard with bleach and clean all of your floors with bleach as well. the vet told us that you can walk the parvo virus in on your shoes and bleach is the only thing that will kill it. my pup did have his first shots and was not allowed outside but he still got it.

I fix a bowl of oatmeal for my dog almost every weekend. She loves it and it wont hurt her. Stop worrying!

It's o.k. Dogs can eat an amazing assortment of things and be perfectly o.k.-no cleaning products, or rat poison aand I don't use pesticides=dogs throw up all the time.

the oatmeal will not hurt your dog. clean up the mess, wipe the oatmeal off of your dog, and don't give it another thought.

I've never heard of grains being bad for dogs. He is probably fine. If you are that worried call your local vet. They should be able to answer your question.

Oatmeal should be okay...Just clean it up and watch your dog for more throw up....

Your dog is most likely going to be sick, but he or she will get over it. If you're really worried, call the vet just in case.
