Hi
I had the same problem with publisher you can...
1. Download file print it of on another computer.
2. Borrow an older version of the program on 98 (what I did)
3. Download a viewer from Microsoft
4. Down load a viewer from the Excel users forum
indiany
or (shudder to think) buy a new copy.

What you need is Open Office. Available from www.openoffice.org. This suite includes a spreadsheet program which can read Excel files. You can also create spreadsheets and save them in a variety of formats including .xls. A particularly useful feature is that it can also save as PDF so you don't ever need to spend money on the full version of Adobe Acrobat!! I use Open Office quite a bit as a free alternative to MS office.

If you right click on the doc that you need to open, a menu will come up. On the menu there should be an option for open with, click this and it will give you options to open the document with something you have, for instance if you have works spreadsheet you can open it with that.
