Flirting through aggression??????????????
My best friend is always hitting me playfully. She is a girl, I'm a guy, we are 15, and people keep saying she is flirting. Today, for example, she just hit me in the head with a school book (lol) for no reason. We have known each other for 2 years. First off, do you think this actually is her way of flirting? She doesn't do it to other people. And also, what should I do back? Should I also playfully mess around with her?
Is this actually a way of flirting?
Also, when she isn't messing like this, she is more serious to me than others, she tells me if she is feeling bad.

Another thing related to mthis is that when we are around friends, she does this and we playfully mock each other, but when we are alone she is more sincere with me.
All of theis is playfull, she is fairly petite, and I am well.,., not, lol, I'm a black belt and stuff.

what????? I am lost in your question.
I think that you should catch her off guard and say, "You are such a feisty beautiful girl" or something like that. That will let her know that you see her as more than just your friend.
Also, you can let her know that you keep her secrets and that you respect her relationship.
You seem to have a yin/yang relationship. Keep with the flow.

As a woman, i'm able to inform you this in case you haven't any longer figued it out yet... women human beings are fickle. What we expect of or experience at some point or maybe one 2nd, would no longer be the way we experience later. Take what you have and anticipate her to furnish extra. It truly sounds to me like she is being a typical chick nevertheless with a mind-blowing guy buddy. She feels "secure" with you chatting, flirting or basically "being". sometime which could be taken the incorrect way. My suggestion is to attend until eventually you have a clearer photograph with extra signs and indicators. If she's asserting she values you as a buddy and does not prefer to lose that, then it quite is a brilliant sign.have self belief her that it is how she feels for no less than the time being. solid success!

Well seems like to me this can go both ways: (1) she could be a little flirty towards you or she just think you are a nice friend to play and joke around with. If she is really interested in you she will make a move. Believe someone will let you know if she is interested in you if she doesn't. At this point, just don't get your hope you, cause you don't know what she is really up to.

sweety it doesn't matter if you're a black belt. but we all know you're not a black belt at this flirting thing, if you don't know if she likes you. it pretty much sounds like she is flirting with you. In a high school kind of way. I've acted like that with people I've had a crush on. but i have also done that to people i just feel confident with. You need to be honest and ask her straight out. if you're scared of asking her in person then do it my mail or I.M. her. good luck.

She definitely likes you.

But she should get out of the habit of expressing her feelings in violence - even mild violence...

Here's a thought-
Next time she expresses her feelings by hitting you or something, get her alone. Then get really close to her, aggressively so. Look her right in the eyes with a smile on your face, and say "You know, if you like me, there's much better ways of showing it." and then touch her intimately - like brushing the hair out of her eyes or pretend to clean something off of her shoulder or touch her chin with your thumb.

Then gauge her response- watch her pupils. If they suddenly get big, then you struck a nerve- she wants you. They might shrink, indicating fear- that you called her on her stuff. Any response is good. She might laugh from being uncomfortable, but don't let that throw you.

Bottom line is we tend to act like children around people we feel comfortable with. So I think that you just need to show her exactly how "comfortable" you feel with her!

I am a 36 year old woman. Sounds like there may be some flirtation going on. I would be sure though before you start flirting back - you don't want to jeopardize your friendship and make things "weird" between you two.

Yeah, stop bragging, no one here cares that you wear a black colored belt.

If you want to get her to stop hitting you with books, just grab her and kiss her on the lips, next time she trys to hit you, just grab her and plant one on her, hold it for 10 seconds, then release, looking into her eyes and smile, say "You want another"? If she smiles, kiss her again (Longer this time).

I can't believe that a guy who claims to have a (Black Belt) would be this clueless, but you truly are.

I think that when you're alone with each other, she acts more like herself because she also acts different when with other people.
Pls. don't take offense but I think she likes the attention she's getting. I had friends like that. But I don't know 'bout the hittin' & stuff, bcuz I have this guy friend who tells me that I can't fit in the word pretty and he always makes me trip on the halls. So..yeah, but I hoped I helped!

She may be flirting, but not necessarily. Sometimes behaviour like that just indicates she likes you, and feels comfortable around you. If you enjoy the relationship as it is, that's great. If not, then wait until her serious side surfaces and address the issue with her then.

Good luck :-)

I say that you tell her to stop hitting you. You don't need to sit her down and say "this is annoying, blah, blah" but the next time she does it just tell her to stop. Then she'll catch herself doing it more and more. Sometimes people do things without realizing that it is wrong or hurtful until someone tells them directly.
