It is not one's own decision to end their life. That is a decision made by God....
God has a great plan for your life. God has created us in His image (Genesis 1:26-27). He created us for a purpose. God has a specific plan in mind for everyone.
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
Jesus taught that death and destruction are the work of "the thief" (Satan). He said, "The thief comes only to steal and destroy;" (John 10:10). John 8:44 says that Satan is a "murderer" and the "father of lies". The feelings of despair that lead to suicide are caused by some of his lies.
Life belongs to God. It is never our place to take our own life or someone else's life.
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own, you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

Those who are adamant that a person who takes his life is committing a mortal sin, and will go to hell, are basing their belief on church doctrine rather than on the Bible. Scripture is silent on the subject. There are no verses that say "He who takes his own life shall be damned." According to Scripture, only one sin does not have forgiveness, and that is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (see Mark 3:29 footnote). That means there is forgiveness for every other sin.
Some quote 1 Corinthians 3:17, which says that God will destroy someone who "defiles" the temple of the Holy Spirit. Yet, there is disagreement about what it means to defile the temple. Does this include suicide? Does it include illicit drug abuse (slow suicide), prescription drug abuse, cigarettes (deliberately breathing in poisons that will eventually kill), tattoos, over-eating (digging a grave with your spoon), or alcohol abuse?
God forbid that we add to the pain of someone who has lost a loved one through the tragedy of suicide, by making a judgment about their eternal destiny. God is the ultimate Judge, and we should therefore leave the issue in His hands. It would be wise to follow the biblical example and not come to any verdict in the case of suicide.

Well God will not torture ANY soul in hellfire that is certain because God is love, and he gives love even to the undeserving. God only hates the sin not the sinner. Only God himself and the authority he gave to Jesus can forgive sins commited as we humans can not know the heart condition of another person and their individual state of mind. But should a person feel that life is so unbearable should seek help should they contemplate suicide. Drawing close to God as I my self discovered and gaining accurate knowledge of his purposes to deal ultimately with the pain, suffering and wickedness that fills the earth today is very good for not only your spiritual welfare but also your mental welfare state of mind. To seek out how God who will soon draw and end to the unrighteous and sick pain inflicted on humans especially to even you is very refreshing to the soul, you can see a way out to how you are feeling now a lot more, and have a real future you can look forward to. Since I took up a bible study with Jehovah's Witnesses my eyes have been opened to Bible truths that have been shut away because for years I listened to false unscriptural teachings. Suicide is a terrible thing as life is precious even though the world today we live in, life almost appears cheap, but to God the orginator of all living things to him life is very sacred in the strongest sense. The world is a terrible place with new horrors unfurling every day 2 Timothy 3:1 says the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here - like it is right now!. It is unsuprising that some people do feel suicidal in this terrible world but leaning on God and not your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5) and your Creator can guide you through the turmoil and give you real hope to a true happiness and give you strength to endure so that very soon you can be part of a new earth of righteousness and enjoy peace and forever life that God as planned and always intended for mankind on Earth and pain and suffering and sickness will be no more Revelation 21:4; 2 Peter 3:13. You will never look back.

NO, NO, NO----you do NOT end up in Hell if YOU ARE SAVED (BORN-AGAIN) and you Commit Suicide.
Suicide IS NOT the Unpardonable Sin.
GOD Almighty can Reach People and get them Saved, in the Last Few Minutes of that Persons Stay on the Earth.
Always assume their in Heaven
99.999% of the Time.
Then You get to Heaven so you can see'm again!
The Worst Part of Hell is knowing that you Did Not have to End up There in the First Place, if you had just Only Believed Who Jesus said HE was. And Asked HIM into your Heart to Save You.
GOD has Secrets when it comes to getting Some People Saved.

I believe that yes people do go to hell for committing suicide.
But why would you want to do something like that in the first place? I did at one time, but then (I know it sounds cheezy but I did) I looked at the world around me and decided that I should stay and make it better for people who are depressed like me. I dont believe you would want to go to hell if you could help it, why not go where you'll be forever happy? And if you believe in heaven and such, you might want to try having a closer relationship with God, it helped me these past few years, just never give up, "I would rather die on my feet, than live on my knees." Ill pray for you and dont give up!(ur never alone!!)

First of all, life is precious, a gift from God. If you or someone you love is considering suicide, please please please contact Suicide hotline 1-800-784-2433 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and at least talk about it.
The Bible contains a number of references to men seeking suicide, either
by taking direct action or
by begging God to kill them on the spot.
In these passages, the authors of the Bible do not appear to consider suicide to be a great moral sin. The act of committing suicide or of asking that God kill them are simply reported in a factual manner. The authors do not interpret these acts as sinful. They seem to be regarded simply as straightforward personal decisions. However, the Christian church has traditionally deviated from the biblical message and has considered suicide to be a great moral sin. Some denominations have even refused to bury people who have committed suicide.

NO. There is no such thing, and if there is an "after life" of some sort then I think it would still be very much HERE and a loved one of mine is just fine and not in some OTHER person's hell they believe in.

No I do not believe he would go to hell, but he may have to stay in purgatory for some time, I believe his spirit would be in such shock and confusion of what he did to himself that healing the spirit would take some time.
