How early can you feel the puppies in the moms tummy? Usually what week how early? Not just movement but actual pup, and what would it feel like, Like a ball or something else?

I never said I was messing with them! So you can drop that attitude, I just asked a simple question, just because i was wondering when you'd be able to feel them doesn't mean I was all pressing and trying to feel anything, I know that feeling around can harm them, which Is why I asked when would you be able to feel them, Not "I am trying to feel around and can't feel them when can I" So you can just chill out and keep your attitude to yourself!!!

Did you know that aggressive palpation can cause miscarriage of the litter??????? STOP MESSING WITH THEM!!!! You can see them move at different stages depending on the breed, and litter size. NEVER should a novice palpate the abdomen for puppies!!! NEVER!!!!

If you are trying to feel more than movement, and feel a "ball", then you are feeling too much!!! Hey, just trying to help you!!!! I have seen more than one person cause problems trying to "feel" the puppies!!!!!!! If people say they feel them once and a while, they are really doing it WAY more!!!

If she's 5 and 1/2 weeks pregnant, she's due for her next prenatal checkup (she should have already been at least once by now.) You can discuss this with her doctor then, along with the many other important things you need to know at this stage of gestation.

Make sure you take a list of questions, as well as a pad and pen to take notes. There is a lot of important information they need to go over with you, and it is important you understand it all if you want to avoid some common problems.

you will be able to start to feel the pups around the 8th week just before she is ready to have the pups. when you feel them they feel like a bunch of lumps moving all over the place. you will be able to see them move also when she lays down on her side. i breed golden retrievers and my female is prego and she is due in nov., with her other litters i was able to see and feel the pups and it was cool to feel them moving. just be patient and the time will come for you to feel, and see them moving. good luck with your litter.
