yeah, supposedly.
Jesus said "the kingdom of heaven is here and now." I've always taken that to mean that heaven and hell are what we create right here on earth.
I thought of starting my own religion, called "responsibilitarianism."
In responsibilitarianism, we accept responsibility for everything we've done, we don't try to blame each other, god, or the devil.
Once we accept that most of the time we're responsible, then we can go about the work of trying to make things better, and stop this nonsense of not doing anything because "the rapture is coming tomorrow..." or "things'll be better when we all get to heaven..." or "it's OK. He's going to hell for what he's done..."
What do you think? Do you want to join my church?

It is the action that is condemned. People pick up the condemnation by doing the condemned action, like murder, adultery, theft, rape, etc.
A life devoted to such actions builds up a spiritual debt; the more condemnation, the greater the debt. If one's time comes to an end with a "debit" on their "account", then yes, hell is the result.
Fortunately, the Bible tells us that God wants to help us end up in the "green" and not the "red". We just have to willingly let Him enter.

This will probably sound like a Sunday School answer, and I'm sorry, but everyone is destined for Hell, even if their particular group is condemned. However, if they do change their minds and ask Jesus for forgiveness and start following Him, then they are no longer destined for Hell...and no longer condemned, since Jesus Christ did not come to condemn the world (it already was) but to save it. Just gotta trust Christ for forgiveness and you won't be condemned. And yes, Hell exists. God makes that clear in His Word (the Bible), but He doesn't want you there. He wants you with Him. But you have to trust him for forgiveness of sins.

Dear malecats,
In regards to the passage you are referring to. The Bible is teaching that those who continue in those things without repentance will not see the kingdom of Heaven (and will be sent to Hell).
However, it does not mean that if we have ever engaged or are engaging in any of those areas that we have to be hell bound. One of the things on that list is adultery and for example Jesus forgave the woman who was caught in adultery and she is most certainly not going to hell.
But to say be involved in an affair and to continue and not see that what is being done is offensive to God says a lot about where a person's heart is. Those who put their faith in Jesus Christ (shown in their trust and love) are saved from hell.
If you've been involved in any of those things in the past- the good news is that Jesus will still accept you. You make the choice to let Him into your life- He'll help you make the changes.
Hope that helps,
Nickster

No. Only God can make that judgement. When it condems it means to tell you DO NOT DO THIS! In bold letters. It is a guidance to tell you what and what not to do and be like.
BY THE WAY!
To you idiots who answered before me. Hell is being away from God. Away from the light!!! There is such a place so stop being stupid. Only God can bring us close to him and away from the darkness that is "hell"

The bible, having been written by men, contains a lot of the bigotry of the time period it was written in. So no - personally, I do not think any one group or race of people is going to hell just because they were born who they are.

Jesus ushered in the age of grace with His death and resurrection on the cross.
God, therefore, sees us as individuals, not groups. The individual makes the decision to accept or reject God, not the group as a whole.

No. The Bible has no authority over anyone but the believers, and its condemnations of others are without effect.

No one is destined for hell, everyone has a chance for everlasting life if they choose the path of repetence and acceptance.

Well, the Bible has many interpretations but as far as I have been taught, ANYBODY who accepts Christ as they're savior goes to Heaven.
