well if during sex is the only time your partner says they love you than i would think that is them talking in the heat of the moment. but if they say it at others times too then they probably mean it.

If you want to make sure it wasn't a heat of the moment thing, then do the same thing.... Just not during sex maybe during a movie. Look at him and say I love you. Smile a little even and if he says he loves you back, well there you go.

Well I tell my hubby that, and I really do mean it...but yes I have heard of cases where people just say it in the heat of the moment because they think it's love but its really a sort of infatuation with the person because of all the feelings and emotions they are experiencing they dont know how to convey it into words so they just slip and say I love you thinking that it's love...but later on they regret it...some do and some dont.

Well it all depends if its your husband or a long time Boyfriend then I'm pretty sure it is meant. But if its just a guy you met of have known for a little while and your already hitting the sheets with him and his telling you he loves you, I think NO his not for reals about it he is just feeling real good at the moment and you will never hear it again once you hit the sack.

YES WE BOTH SAY IT NOT EVERY TIME BUT THAT DON'T MEAN I DON'T LOVE HIM ALL THE TIME. SO I GUESS IT'S A LITTLE OF BOTH IT IS OUT OF PASSION IN THE HEAT OF THE MOMENT BUT IT IS ALSO BECAUSE WE REALLY DO LOVE EACH OTHER.

I say what I mean. I would usually only say it afterwards unless it's some really intimate and passionate lovin'. If we're just getting after it though, it kinda almost spoils the mood.

I've done it quite a few times, I guess its from being lonely and meeting someone and when we do finally have sex, the excitement overwhelms me and I just blurt out that I love them and in reality, I really don't mean it. I don't know why I do it.

every relationship, whether a couple weeks or years, my partner has said those 3 words...i think it's just because of the moment... but never say it unless you really, really mean it and feel deeply in love, not lust with that person....see ya!!!

yeah, i say it all the time to my girlfriend, and I MEAN it. If i don't love someone, I dont feel inclined to say it. I used to screw chicks who I could care less about, and never once did I say I loved them. My steady girlfriend now, I truly do love, and say so.

I don't know. That's not something that just runs across my mind at that time. I think it should just be a given if you are having sex.
