First, yes shave. Second, find an older man for your first time. He will be more patient and treat you right. Start with oral to get the feelings and go on from there.

These days guys expect shaved or trimmed. The seventies were a long time ago. Personally I like trimmed because I'm a little tired of shaved.
I think the most important thing for a woman who has gone this long without sex is not to rush into it. You need to find a guy you like instead of just losing it to some frat boy. Any guy who finds out you are a virgin is going to think either he has no chance or he is going to do his best to be your first, so watch out for this.
Don't tell a guy you are a virgin until you are more intimate. Go on a couple of dates first so you know that he isn' tjust interested in the novelty of it. Make sure your guy knows that he is going to have to really work the foreplay and that he can't expect sex right away. I think you should ease into it carefully, both emotionally and when you finally do have sex, physically.
Buy some lubrication (or make him do it) because it might be difficult at first. It might hurt and it might not, the important thing is that the guy be gentle and it be someone that you trust and not just some guy looking to add you to his score card.

Ok, to be honest with you sex isn't all that great the first time around. You first need to make sure you are really ready for this, once you give it up you cant get it back "your virginity." Make sure you plan to do this with someone who really cares for you and make sure to use a CONDOM!!!!!! You probably first should visit a doctor or perhaps a Health Department on literature about sex and its consequences (sexual transmitted diseases). You might choose not to have sex after that. which would be a good thing.
But if you honestly have to do it, prepare. Trim your bush, set the mood, take your time and most importantly use a CONDOM! Don't rush it, make sure that you are comfortable with it and not feel pressured. Just relax and let it happen. It won't be what you expect..........trust me.
Good Luck....Maybe try talking to your mom about this,or an older sister or someone.

First of all... cut that bush... you never know when the time is going to come... and its a wonderful feeling if you do it with the person you truly love. Feelings will actually get stronger after the first time you do it, I know people say they don't, but for some reason they naturally do.

Honestly, the first few times suck *** but it gets better as you get more experienced. Keep at it (try to keep it with the same guy though! lol) and It will get goooood... Also, I would shave around your legs and the top, and shape it into a cute simple shape, then trim it short. thats usually a good all-around strategy :o)

It's different for everyone, it can actually hurt a bit first time. Don't shave, it itches growing back. If you want to do anything - waxing is the go and use a pair of clippers to tidy up what's left if you decide to leave anything.

I was a very late bloomer. It was sort of romantic for me but not sexually pleasurable; that took a while for me. I guess i all depends on your expectations and really a lot depends on your relationship with your partner. If you know each other and love each other it'll probably be a good experience but if you did like I did (I did it just to get it over with and keep up with my girlfriends)- just pick someone up and had sex, it was not great but I accomplished my mission. Generally it takes some practice to be able really enjoy sex to its fullest.

Please.. please,please,please,please,pl... PLEASE go to the links I have below and read the information there BEFORE you give yourself to this guy!!!
Then... AFTER you have read them and done some thinking about
- what would I do if I got pregnant?
- what would my life be like if I had a child?
- do I understand the risks of STDs and am I prepared to protect myself against them?
- what will this do to my reputation?
Once you have done all of that then you need to have some sort of discussion with the guy about consequences.. what if you did get pregnant what would you do? if you would keep it then you really need to let him know BEFORE you sleep with him.
I know the links below are centered more for "kids" but you should read them and know what you are getting into.
As for shaving vs trimming... yeah at LEAST trim it up so you don't have any little whispies sticking out from under the panties... and if you think you would like him to go down on you.. you may think about waxing it off... no one likes to get hair in their teeth.
but.. its really a personal preference.. myself.. i take it all off... its just more... fun .. for me at least...
if you do decide to take it off look up on the net tips on how to do it so you won't get any icky stubble or bumps!!!
