i have been using benzaclin, which is a combination of benzyl peroxide and climdaycin, for five days now. I apply it every moring. The problem is my face has been burning and itching all day long after i put on the medicine. It seems like the burning and ithcing never stops. Is this normal since the side effects say buring and itching are side effects. My question is whether the burning and itching should last this long?

if it's that bad, you might be allergic to it. stop using it and apply some aloe lotion. If it doesn't get better, you should see a doctor.

I've used benzaclin before. I think you are only supposed to use it on the affected areas of your face, not your whole face. You should either stop using it, or consult your doctor.

your face is just not used to it. Stop using this medication for a few days, than start again, but dont use it every morning, use it once every third day and gradually work your way up to every day, and also use less, just gradually get your skin used to it. Its okay for it to burn and itch, mine was the same, all i did was cut back and than gradually got my skin use to it.
