I'm not talking about trying to look or act like they are 20.....but what's wrong with looking nice and being attractive?

I agree...I am 40 and my son is 18...lately he has asked my to change my clothes...he wants me to wear these huge sweatshirts, sweatpants and whatnot....and today he said I should dress "more ugly" when I go to work. I dress very conservativly b/c I am in court 3 days a week(usually) and I have to dress that way..but I am always appropriate in my dress.

I must tell you a pretty girl at ages up till about 25 is nothing but an accident of nature. And believe me it will pass. But when that woman matures, 45, 50, 55 and that beauty remains, it is no accident. A significant amount of work went into it. The most beautiful and sexy woman I know is over 65. WOW with the bait she has conserved, she could land any ADULT male on the planet. And she could do it very quickly.
Watch your weight, stay in shape, makeup in moderation and think beautiful. I love maturity in women, and I appreciate it as well.

A woman should never stop being or trying to be sexy or attractive its all what she feels. She glows sexy, love, and attractivness....its what inside that comes out. For me its how I dress and feel to make me feel sexy and attractive hey I'm in my early 40's and I know I never felt any better sexier than I feel now:D.

Let's see - I know Christie Brinkley is 50 years old - and I'd love to be her boyfriend. Raquel Welch is in her 60's and she's still gorgeous. Sexy is a state of mind, but physically speaking, if a woman takes care of herself, she'll still get looks from 16 year olds!

As long as they want to. There's nothing wrong with a 70 or 80 or 90 year old who takes the time to look their best.
You have to be "age appropriate" about it, though.
There's nothing attractive about seeing someone who's trying to be something they aren't...younger...or thinner...or taller...or whatever.

there is nothing wrong. Enjoy your life and love how you dress. If your family/friends give you grief for how you dress...its their problem..not yours.
