Bacon, Fried Eggs, Hash Browns, Toast. Serve his favorite drink with the meal regardless of what it is. Your willingness to serve something like a cold beer or a Dr. Pepper, even though it doesn't really go with breakfast, will show him that you really care about what he likes!

If your boyfriend is a big eater, nothing beats a delicious and plentiful ham and scrambled eggs and bacon and toast, with some orange juice and coffee thrown in to round out the meal. Another good choice are pancakes with your favourite sweet or savoury toppings. You can also try a oatmeal, beautiful fruit platter and egg white omelet.

All very nice depending on what you like to eat.

Have fun on Thursday!

You could go with the classics like pancakes and eggs. If you want to be cutesy/silly make the pancakes in a heart shape.
Breakfast casseroles are always amazing, but might not be the kind of surprise breakfast in bed thing because they take about an hour to cook.

How about a little adventure? If you can make a hollandaise sauce, try crab cake benedict - Toasted, buttered English muffins, your best fresh crab cakes, poached eggs, hollandaise (you could even put some smoked chili powder or hot smoked paprika in it), and don't forget a sprig of parsley and a few strawberry slices in the shape of hearts on the side.

Or for sweets, how about a fall take on the old pancakes - make pumpkin pancakes with cinnamon honey butter, or gingerbread pancakes with lemon curd.

Scrambled eggs on toast a la Pommy Jon...
Don't overcook the eggs as they will continue to cook a bit in the pan after turned off. Add a few small capers or diced black olives, some chopped mushrooms fried in butter with garlic (not too many of these ingredients as they are not to overpower the eggs), and sprinkle sliced smoked salmon on top.
Serve with your fave coffee and go back to bed for a rumble

If you've got a cookbook with pictures try crepes or an oven baked pancake. Fresh fruit or heated fruit pie filling would complement the meal. Blintzes are just crepes filled with a mixture of cream cheese, cottage cheese and a bit of sugar. You roll them up like burritos. You can make them ahead; the night before. Microwave and ta da! Nice of you. Bon Appetit!

Most guys are big eaters.
You said you could cook anything, so here's what I cook when my son visits.
Homemade biscuits with sausage gravy.
Some other kind of meat, ham, bacon, country fried steak( his favorite)
Eggs, scrambled or fried the way he likes them
Pan fried potatoes.
Jam or jelly to go with hot buttered home made biscuits.
The drink he likes.
Coffee, tea, milk etc.

French toast with fresh fruit, maybe some nice bacon or sausage, and the best coffee you can make. That would make me happy :)
