Overpriced and poor installation workmanship in my experience, in one case a danger to life. Go to a bathroom specialist or get a recommendation from a friend.

To my knowledge Dolphin Bathroom Sales Consultants work on commission only so will act like window salesmen to get a sale, don't feel pressured, their prices are high because they attempt to promote quality, don't get me wrong they do good stuff but initially the consultant may say things can happen even if they can't, the surveyor will let you know later on.
Personally I would ask friends to recommend a good builder / fitter and get the bathroom items from B&Q, designed and quoted for free, probably delivered for free if there over about £400 and get a man in to take his time and do it properly not rushed by his bosses at their greedy HQ.
Always get a quote signed at the start though so the builder sticks to the price.
Good Luck, hope it looks like u want it to.

If you dont mind listening to 2 or 3 hours of boring, tedious drivell then carry on but as others have said you will find that all they are really interested in is getting as much up you as they can. I have been in the bathroom industry for about 25 years and have heard it from all sides i.e from fitters ( usually ex fitters actually) & customers & suppliers. They come across really well and have fantastic showrooms with suited & booted staff but all of this goes onto the price & time & time again whenever we quoted against Dolphin (& others like them) we were usually agood 30-40% less for exactly the same products from the same manufacturers........not similar, exactly the same! My advice is go to a smaller independent bathroom showroom, they will have lower overheads which will reflect in your favour when the quote arrives.

As a plumber for 35 years, and having had to finish a number of so called bathrooms installed by Dolphin, I would avoid them like the plague. We did get a quote from them to fit a shower, for comparison purposes. They wanted £480. At the time we were charging £160 for exactly the same thing. Expensive, poor products, poor workmanship. Bear in mind , these are my personal experiences.

I have used a Dolphin Bathroom, but only once, and I asked before I used it. People using Dolphin bathrooms are becoming a very large problem in many of our Oceans. Ask the Dolphin first .. if they give you permission .. use it and get out quickly. Don't try to ride the Dolphin like you see in the movies. It isn't polite. Good Luck ! :)

When I was younger, and naive... :-) I had a Dolphin rep. come out to my house re. bathroom. Had a hell of a job to get rid of him, they don't want to go 'till they've clinched the deal. I would, and have, avoided having ANY rep. to my house ever since. They are looking to make big bucks,....from YOU! Get a good local tradesman by asking around people you know and trust, to do the same job.

I would make sure you know what you want first.
When they make the sales call you will be glad to get rid of
them. The salesperson will be with you for about 2 hours.
The sales pitch will entail a long drawn out design, and
discussion on what type and fittings and colours you want.
Part of this format i.e The salesman adding value by drawing
out the appointment, really P**hed me off. The main value of
there pitch boils back to project management at a cost.
The cost we were given was about £2800 more than doing
the job with my own tradesmen, was to much for me to
consider their quote.
I would give them a swerve.............

It's a very expensive way of doing up your bathroom! Go to B&Q select a bathroom and get a plumber to fit it or do it yourself. We just did and it's fantastic!!!

I have never heard of them, but i doubt the fixtures will say dolphin on them. Ask if that is the company name, and what name is on the fixtures. If it is a private label, ask who makes them.
