should men get more money from working or benefits than women?
I ask as men have a higher calorific need than women per day and therefore spend more money on food so should this gap between calorific need be lessened by giving men more money?

LOL. Americans are already overweight. If people got paid according to calorific intake there would be even more obese people.

Your theory is flawed because there are women who eat a lot some men who barely eat.
