I went out sunday for the 1st time, with this girl that I have known online for some time now (over a year). It didnt start out as a date, but more like a just get together...I had nothing in mind. But it did end like a date (just 1st base). We had a great time. Since then we haven't talked, I've been busy and did not have time to IM. I would really like to see her again...but wait how much do date, and call? Its a special situation since we know each other a lot. Usually after a first date with a girl im new with, i wait several days before i call, and a week before a 2nd date. But the playground is diffrent here...

If nothing happened then waiting a few days is ok.
You don't want to seem too anxious.
After you get to first base the timetable changes.
You call her the next morning and tell her you had a great time and want to go out with her again on a real date as soon as possible.
I'm sure she's starting to get a little mad that you haven't called yet after letting you get to first base.You might still have time to save yourself.
If the people that answered before me haven't convinced you call her right now. Don't play games. Just be honest and be yourself and she'll be yours.
Or maybe she'll move on to someone who appreciates acess to her boobs.

Dude, if you IM her periodically before your "date" then just casually IM with her about anything or everything, then bring up what a nice day it was and how you'd like to do it all again.
Man don't weird out on the girl over first base, hell, you're damn fortunate to not be in the limbo known as the "friend zone". Don't blow it with all the timetable BS. She's known you for a year and deserves better.
If you have time to call, you have time to IM, for god's sake man!

Just pick up the phone and call her or send her an email letting her know you had a really good time on sunday and you'd like her to join you for dinner sooner than later... why do guys feel like they have to have this waiting period before calling again... just do what's in your heart!

after your first date if you want a second one you should call within a few days. and then schedule the date for about a week after the first one...so if you want to do out again i suggest calling her now.

7 days is alittle too long and usually around 1-2 weeks till the 2nd date.

Just call her now and stop wasting time, she may have thought you did not like her enough to ask her out again, always call right after, to say how much fun she is.
