During active building you should be taking in about 0.8 g of protein each day per pound of body weight... from all sources, meaning diet and supplements. At 124 lbs, that means you need about 96 g of protein each day.

Grilled chicken breast are an excellent source of protein.

Most reputable fitness magazines usually shoot for about 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight... so you'd have to consume about 120 - 130 grams per day.

More protein won't necessarily mean bigger muscles faster. Only consistent training, rest, as well as diet can contribute to that.

Too much protein will ultimately waste your money and make you tack on body fat.

You can certainly bulk up. Ease up on the cardio and try to consume 500 - 750 additional calorie a day to take on mass. Also, keep your workouts to less than an hour. Too much working out will result in too many calories being burned and you won't get anywhere.

Good luck.

To add muscle you sould take 1.5g per pound of body weight. So about 186g should do it, I recommend supplementing whey protein, because its hard to get that much from food. Thats it no more answers needed.
