- washing face night and day, do not go to sleep with dirty face.

- open pores, mean dirt has a place to hide out, best to clean face 2-3 daily, reduce dirt, reduce pores.

- using products that are specifically designed to reduce pores.

- rub lemon on face nightly.... after cleaning face... lemon is a tightening agent, may sting a lil on a fresh face, but lemon is good for skin.

Try Boire warm reducing pore wash....

Find a facial scrub that is best for your skin type, then you will need a toner and a moisturizer. There are three simple steps
1) WASH
2)TONE AND
3) MOISTURIZE
Clean your face everyday with your facial product and your poors will look small because there is no dirt clogging them up.

Some time ago I made the same question, and I got same answers... Cold water worked the best. I bought a spray bottle and keep it in the shower, to sprinkle face right before coming out of the shower... And it worked!! I'm still looking for the best cosmetical product, though...

There are many ways and methods to treat large face pores - there are special creams and lotions to clean pores. One of such methods is a special face pore cleanser. This device allows you to clean the pores of your face. It is not that hard to operate this device, and it gives wonderful results. It even can be used to clean and unclog the pores on your nose that are so hard to clean with regular means.

There are many people who suffer from enlarged face pores. Although the problem is not acute, it can create some inconvenience. That makes people search for different methods to make face pores smaller.

Facial pores are openings of oil glands. And these pores are bigger and more noticeable if you have an oily skin type. But in the T-area, even people with dry skin can have larger pores. The size of pores is usually caused by different hereditary factors and there is nothing you can do to change the actual size of these face pores. The only thing you can do to lessen the effect of large face pores is to make them close.

Many people (and even skin care specialists) think that these facial pores cannot be opened and closed from outside. The best way to treat this problem is to lower the amount of oil glands that your face produces. To achieve that goal you need to clean your face pores very well and do it regularly.

Many skin therapists advise the use of toners to treat large face pores, but in most cases this is not the best remedy. Such means as harsh toners will give you only temporary results. These remedies are usually based on alcohol or similar substances, which make the muscles in face pore tighten. Of course, in that case your face pore will look smaller but such a situation will make the glands produce more oil. And more oil will give you even bigger face pores in the future.

So to get more or less permanent results, you need to clean your face in a more gentle way. Use a soft face wash. And in most cases there is no need for special moisturizing - oily skin glands produce more than enough moisture.

You can also use different natural cleaning recipes. The most simple recipe is to mix lemon and cucumber juice. But there are also more complex lotions like the one based on Terminalia (which is traditionally used as natural herbal laxative) and Aloe Vera.

Another interesting method to clean your face pores is available - it is a pore cleanser. A pore cleanser is a device that produces suction and thus removes excess oil and dirt from your face. Usually a pore cleanser has two different cups (one for the use on the chin, forehead, and cheeks and another to clean and unclog pores around and on your nose). The use of a pore cleanser is pretty simple - you only need to apply it to your face and press a button. The pore cleanser starts to work at once, sucking oil and dirt from your face pores. After using a pore cleanser you need to apply some sort of moisturizing agent.

Using a pore cleanser you will get much better results if your face pores are open. So it is a great idea to use this wonderful device right after a hot bath. You can also make your pores open by applying a hot towel to your face for a couple of minutes. Needless to say, you need to remove all the makeup you have before using a pore cleanser. And of course, as with any other cleansing means, a pore cleanser has to be used regularly to provide the best effect of reducing the size of your face pores. You need to use a pore cleanser for about two weeks to see the results. So be patient and persistent in achieving your goal.
