i have seen some people who seem like they have the easiest relationships. I left someone because I couldnt deal with the problems anymore. I was relieved after but I later realized that I could walk away from the ongoing problems but now its hard to imagine them not in my life. If your ment to be w/ someone should it come easy or can real happiness develop from working at a relationship? What should be the important things worth fighting for?

A solid and permanent relationship is never easy, but it shouldn't be fraught with constant strife either. I have learned to speak up only if it is truly important to me and not just a matter of my petty ego. I see these message in this site about people chatting on-line and "falling in love" and being married and cheating with someones bf/gf or a plethora of things people need to learn not to mess with ... so many terrible things are just brought on by our petty wants and egos. I decided just to be devoted to my man and it is surprising how few issues come up.

The question is what do you think is worth fighting for? I believe all relationships have there ups and downs. Men and women are so very different from each other. I think a person's character is very important, what type of person is she? Some people think credit, money should be a prerequisite for happiness. However, I don't believe that. I have seen couples that have money and are totally unhappy. I have good friends who are not wealthy but, are living comfortably and are very happy because they love each other and enjoy life together. Same interest etc....
So this is how I see it, if you are a happy well adjusted person within yourself, you know what your looking for in a women. All you have to do is follow your gut feelings. Once you get to know someone and it doesn't seem right. Then your probably right it's not and pushing it will not make it better. I really don't know what the problems where, if you are looking back now. thinking you made a mistake. Then go to her and tell her! But if these issues are major and will only get worst, then you have make the right choice. Go back and think about what went in the relationship good or bad. Was this relationship worth fighting for?? I'm sure when you really think about it you will get the right answer. No one is perfect we all have flaws, only you know if she is worthy it or not.
Good Luck..Peace

relationship is not that easy, it is not always happy, obstacles is always behind it. if you see people that are happy, most of them are hiding it. Its always give and take, don't sweat all the small stuff, Always work things out, some couple split up, because they can't handle problems, problems makes the relationship stronger. No problems that can't be solve, its not easy of course, that's why there is hardwork and team work. Worth fighting for is having a bestfriend and a soul mate. Not easy to find it.

there's not only problems in relationship although how spotless that it might seems to be but it's just like the pasture on the other side is always greener and all walks of life and people have problems in different ways and if we keep on running and hiding away from problems it will never be out run cause unless we learn through it, it will continue to follow us through until we learn it. so it's time for self evaluation and we don't have to make the same mistakes that people has made, we learn through their mistakes! our lives are worth fighting for cause we decide and determine what we want for our lives, no one else can......

If you are in a relationship and you don't have any problems, then something is wrong with your relationship. In a good relationship with someone, you will have problems and you will be able to get through them and still be happy. But you could be in a relationship and too many problems. In my opinion it's up to you and your feelings to determine if that particular person is right for you.

relationships are never easy. they have to be worked on. just because you have problems doesnt mean it isnt love. and those people that seem like they have the easiest relationships have their share of problems too. you have to compromise in a relationship but the most important things to you in life and worth fighting for in your relationship.

My relationship is easy because I picked the right person. I made sure he had all the qualities I needed, and now that I found him, I treasure him.
But first, I had to be worthy of the type of man I wanted to attract, so that meant being mature, calm, loving, stable, emotionally mature, and wise enough to have compassion and patience.

I don't know what's worth fighting for-- we never fight, we're just happy to be together.

It is defiantly not easy to have and keep a relationship. You have to work at it every day. It is a lot of compromise, listening, understanding and love. It's also give and take. just make sure the other half is doing the same. I have known my husband for 20 years. We've been married for 15. I can't wait to see him every day after work.

If friendship is the foundation, then the relationship is easy. If something else is the foundation (looks, sex, money, ...) then it will always be a chore and will never be easy.
