I like Gosling's Black Seal from Bermuda. It's a dark rum, nicely flavored. I also like Pyrat quite a bit, and Captain Morgan's Tattoo isn't half-bad. I prefer rum from Bermuda, the Bahamas or Jamaica. Places where they've been making it for centuries and know what the hell they're doing.

when it comes to spiced rum hands down Captain Morgan.
the wife loves her cap and cokes how ever we have found another brand that is very close to Captain Morgan but way cheaper called admiral nelsons.

ask a pyrat about an old monk xxx...old monk is hella hard to find. it's from india and is nice at about 86 proof (43% alcohol). pyrat is tops along with the cryzan single barrel.
