Common sense.

We all have an inner awareness of the law without being taught. The legal system often uses this when determining guilt. Despite a person's claim of innocence and not believing they did anything wrong the fact that they hid themselves reveals what they really believe. The problem with the common sense argument is without objective morality who is to say Hitler's morality was any worse than Mother Theresa's. Without the belief in the existence of God there is no legitimate basis for a standard of morality. Socrates believed this. If there is no God then why is not all subjectivism true? If I enter into a jail full of murderer's then would that mean their common sense out voted mine. Either murder is wrong because it truly is wrong or it isn't. If a person is merely a product of their genes then they would truly have no free will and then shouldn't be held accountable for their actions.

To quote George Carlin - "How come if it is a person then it's an abortion but if it's a chicken it's an omelet."
