Thats hard to tell ALL dogs are different--the pregnancy should last 60-67 days USUALLY 63 days is the average.. you should count the days from when she was bred--but you should already know this if your breeding her.

The 1st 24 hours the momma dog gives the rich colostrum to her pups. It basically is disease protection for the puppies. Women also do this when they breast feed their own babies Then mommas produce the milk to feed the pups. It is very important that momma has been eating puppy chow and continues to do so until pups are weaned.

24 - 48 hrs. She will look for a place to have them also. Put out a whelping box ( box (big enough for her and puppies, put blanket (old ones) and put the box in a quiet place. When time comes to have them, she will use the box for privacy. Of course, I did that with mine and they had them where I was so I moved the box. It all depends on how bonded you and your dog are. She may want to be near you when the blessed event happens.

i dont know my dog is pregnant to she is in labor right now well im thinking she is shes a cocker spaniel ussually they will pop out like 58-61 days or so so u should count the days she got pregnant!!!!!works lol
