My son has played football for 5 years. He decided after the first day of practice that he didn't want to play this year (already had his physical and bought cleats, etc) so I was not too happy. He finally told me that he didn't want to play because one of the coaches said somethinmg a bit mean.
I told him that he should not let some jackaxx ruin his love for football.
He did change his mind and told me on the way home from his second game
"Mom, thanks for not letting that jackaxx ruin my football career. You are the best Mom."
It was unheard of....a thirteen year old was grateful for a lecture!

I would give her more Happy Meals! My daughter said the exact same thing and I never I felt so loved! Untill I heard her say the exact same thing to her Dad and I realized what a little cutie pie she is. Her Dad felt loved too and I never gave away the fact she said it to me too.

my oldest daughter went away to camp this summer and when we got there I was helping her make her bed...but making her do most of the unpacking...while some of the other mommies were doing all the work and letting their girls just stand there and give directions.. My daughter whispered "mom...why do I have to help you? Noone else is helping there mom" and I said my standard- " You will thank me later"... and then about ten days later I got this postcard that said:
You do not have to wait until I am grow to let you know
I am so glad you didn't raise me to be spoiled and selfish and lazy. My cabin is full of them and I am glad I am not one of them! You are an awesome mom!

My son who's now 4, only approximately 2 years in the past, i replaced into ill with a chilly. informed him I wasnt feeling stable, and that i replaced into going to place down on the sofa and we could watch cartoons together. He went into his room grabbed his pillow and his blanket off his mattress, and got here working into the lounge. And mentioned "right here mommy" with a huge smile. It replaced into so candy, I cried and gave him a hug and kiss. To this present day, on each and every occasion I dont experience stable, my son seems after me. i think of its using fact I safeguard him and carry him whilst he gets ill. Its remarkable what young ones can do.

The sunshine in my life when she was little once looked me in the eyes said she loved me and kissed me on my cheek. We were going through a tough time back then and she just made me feel like everything will be ok and today it is ok. It was a special moment I will never forget.

"Bye Daddy, I love you", said my 9-year-old just about 2 minutes ago. They were the best words I've heard in a long time.
