I am an engineer and have researched science, biology, evolution, philosophy, and general paradigms of life. I was not raised in a Christian home, grew to hate Christians, and was suddenly touched by some unseen force one night and became a Christian. Instead of following the media and society I researched the idea of God, and the truth of Jesus in all the above areas, and came to one conclusion based on my findings and feelings (which came from somewhere else) Jesus existed as God does. Who can offer a valid argument. Understand that if you give an answer with no backing or something that has nothing to do with this, I will fully disregard your reply. Act mature. God Bless.

I was just at two different seminars that helped me to deal with this very issue. I studied what they said in the meetings and found the information to be sound. The one seminar is available on-line at www.mostamazingfacts.com I don't know if the other seminar is available yet or not but the web address was www.theprescence.org
both have a lot to do with studying Daniel chapter two. When you realize that the bible accurately predicts the future kingdoms of the world you can only come to the conclusion that the whole Bible is just as accurate.

I am studying a series of Bible commentaries by scholar W. Cleon Skousen. Skousen was one of the pre-eminent scholars of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and he loves to make references to all kinds of archaeological finds, leaving it up to the reader to confirm those claims. I keep starting and stopping, however. The one I was reading was "The Fourth Thousand Years," which covers the time from David to Christ. I am also studying Jewish symbolism little by little and plan to attend a Jewish choir and dinner with the producer of "Schindler's List" coming to speak next week at the University of Utah. There is supposed to be a Jewish professor there named Joseph Ginad, who has a degree in archaeology. Do you want a report back on anything that happens there?

I'm afraid noone on either side will be able to give satisfactory valid arguments in the space we have here! I did the research on the New Testament, spending literally hundreds of hours, and found my faith in the New Testament documents confirmed more than ever. There would be no way of putting any of that down here!

Ask her how many better halves do you get. Mormonism is as heretical as Catholicism Dogma aside Mormons are frequently a happier people than different Christian faiths and have an uncomplicated IQ appropriate to the comparable as Atheist and the Jewish. They sell a baby like happiness without the childishness. Psychologically its better to different Christians faiths in case you get right into a good church.. From an atheist point of view its not extra weird and wonderful than the different faith. do no longer decide her on the grounds of non secular bigotry, you're the two people first. do no longer hardship approximately non secular labels and don't be afraid to maintain your individual faith. additionally do no longer hardship approximately people who shun, it somewhat is their situation. If faith is the great concern right here then the two one in each of you're no longer something extra effective than breading inventory for some church. don't be materials of a few employer.

It would take more time and space than anyone here is willing to devote to it on Y!A. It is also unclear by your question weather you want an argument from the positive or negative side.

Lee Strobel, former atheist turned Christian. His books "The Case for Christ", The Case for Faith", and "The Case for a Creator". Not only have I read his books, but I've also read various other books on apologetics from different authors, but Strobel's books are pretty good.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking for, regarding "valid argument". Am I supposed to try to challenge your faith with my arguments, or use arguments to confirm your faith?
