I am 18 go to UVM in jersey and my bf is 21 and goes to NYU last week on friday we went together into new york to hit some clubs because he likes that stuff i dont really like it and feel out of place. We got into a fight and he walked away from me leaving me stranded and crying i dont normally go in to new york because i live in jersey so i was lost.I tried calling him but he did not aswer his cell phone i had no money for a cab or anything.I cant believe a guido or Italian guy who was a complete stranger helped me get home but my bf would not.The guy acutually happens to also live im my area and gave me his number .My bf does not understand why i am mad!? should i explain or dump him?

Oh, I'm sure that if you just wait, your bf will shape up, completely change his behavior, straighten up and fly right and honor you. OF COURSE dump him and require any guy that you let into your life to respect and honor you and your wishes.

he's just gonna blame you and take no responsiblity for his actions, he'll be sorry but you... mad him mad, was acting like a ... you finish it. Whatever validation you need from him, to convince your self he's an asshole, should of been realized when you had to rely on your well being from a stranger in NYC. If you were my daughter, i'd be pissed if your self esteem was low enough to believe you deserved to be treated with such disrespect. He may end up being a great guy, but the fact is he'snot now. Move on. and don't waste your time explaing yourself... you know how you feel, and that's all that matters.

welll I think the biggest reason you are having problems is that he's 21 and you are 18. he can do ANYthing go ANYwhere and you still can't go to bars and most clubs. so... he has to go places that are not "adult" with you. which could piss him off.
so... I'd just tell him you need to find someoen more your age and that is around your area and leave it at that.
yeah.. he was an ***.. but you were at fault too.. crying in public? come on... guys don't go for that stuff...
I'm sorry you got stranded.. but... look at it this way.. you now know that you can start dating other guys now!!!!!

im a guy and from my perspective he was an A$$. Any real man would have made sure that you made it home saftly. But i wouldnt tell you to break up, maybe he was drunk and didn't think quick enough. Try to explain it to him again if he still doesnt get it have him talk to his boys, most men will understand better if it's coming from their guy friends or just another guy in general.

omg ur bf is a completly loser sweety .. because ur boyfriend can get mad or anything but if he really loves u he wouldnt put urself in any danger.. wut if something happened to u? so u know he need to grow up and be a man .. dats not love.. explain to him why r u mad n see wut he says depend on wut he say u can forgive him o dump his *** ( think about it .. he did it once he will do it again ) .. good luck
