We assume (at least some of us) that Heaven, Hell or Purgatory is next. What if we've already lived, and now we're in Purgatory, and all the **** that we are dealing with: War, poverty, murder, greed, suffering, hunger is all just a part of life here in Purgatory?

You know what assume means? You make an *** out of u and me, so lets not assume. Now, there is no such thing as Purgatory and if you are living in the future, good for you.

I don't believe in purgatory, so for me this theory doesnt work. "purgatory" as you named it, was irraticated once Christ died on the cross. there was no longer a need for a "middle ground". Jesus is our "go between" between God and us. Now when we die, you go to heaven or hell. There is no praying you out of purgatory.

as for all the world chaos......according to the bible, its only going to get worse. thankfully, for those of us who have accepted christ as our saviour, we will be taken out (or raptured) before the anti christ comes and spare us the continual decline and destruction of the earth.

ya! but it isn't. People don't die in purgatory, they are already dead. Although, it's not purgatory from here, it is only heaven or hell. Peace be with you.

Purgatory is an invention of the Roman Catholic church. It is not in the gospels... or the writings of Paul or Peter. It was the early catholic chuchs way of controling people and getting them to toe the line and stay in the catholic church. Fear goes a long way. But it is not God's way. We do not need to fear going to pergatory. Just ask God to forgive you, then live for Him... and if you should sin, the Bible says we have an Advocate with the Father... Jesus Christ... inother words, Jesus goes to the Father on our behalf... we just have to walk in repentance and humility.

Purgatory, if necessary, come after death. You will now that you have died because there is a particular judgement.

What if you asked a legitimate question?

If you've taken in food or water this week, then you are not in purgatory.

Besides, there are no scriptural references to purgatory.
