ok so theres this guy in my drama class that i like and ive known him for a year now but this year we just became friends and i try to show him that i like him but he hasnt really picked up on the matter of fact that i like him but i just found out that theres this other girl that also likes him in the same class and im afraid that im goin to miss my chance if i dont make a move now...but since the other girl likes him...i dont want to start anything between me and her and i dont want to make a compatition between us over a guy...should i go for it or back off and let her have him?...(shes younger than the guy too)

It really would not hurt to ask him out. This is the year 2006 and it is very common for the female to ask the male out instead of visa versa. Is she a friend? If so well talk to her about it first, if not GO FOR IT. The suttle approach is not very affective and may very well cause you to lose your opportunity.

If you just became friends with him and he has not been seeing u like him then maybe you should Waite and tell him when ever u think the right time is.And if this other girl is too young then she is just going to find away to ruin you guys friend ship i had the same problem as u and every thing turned out grate.So if you tell him later then he will be fine with you likening him and maybe u guys will go out as for giving hints i think you should find a way of letting him know without him really knowing.

guys never seem to pick up on the hints you have to spell it out to them...since you guys are friends already you should tell him how you feel. seriously the worst that can happen is that he doesnt have the same feelings for you, if thats the case then you move on and wont spend time wondering what could have happened. i wouldn't let another girl liking him get in your way, if you like him that much then its worth a shot, if not then move on.

anyway, u should try and talk to him alot, as much as you can. bring up the subject of relationships time to time, and see how he feels. try and become somewhat a close friend to him, and once you guys are close enough, just pop the question: so, who do you like?
act kinda playful, and act as though its no big deal, though.
