8 lbs in 3 weeks is a lot. Just keep doing what you're doing. If you lose too much weight real fast, you could get that hanging skin some people have.

From my own experience i ate in moderation and small meals.Congratulations to you on losing weight. it can be such a hard task for a lot of us, but by losing it slowly, and combined with exercise- however light- you will win.Try to balance your meals by having a small portion of meat or chicken with a large salad/rice.DON'T DENY YOURSELF ANYTHING! Just halve it, and remember to drink lots of water as it will replenish you inside and it will eventually show on the outside. It is hard when you first start but after about twoweeks onwards you'll have set a routine which you'llcome to like bacause you will notice the difference before anyone else will, as you'llfeel it in your clothes-they'll be a bit looser. Good on you and good luck

Congratulations! You sound like whatever you've done is what you should keep doing. I lost weight when I started to consume more calcium and protein (spinach, vanilla lowfat yogurt), do at least 40 minutes of cardio 3-4 times per week and keep track of my inches and pounds lost at http://www.f-heit.com . Imagery works well for me too so I look at photos of when I was fitter and photos of celebrities whose physiques I admire. (Heidi Klum!) Keep up the good work.

To lose more weight in a healthy way, follow this:

Breakfast: fat-free yogurt and fruit
Lunch: tuna (in water) on a salad with fat-free dressing
Dinner: steamed veggies and broiled fish

Drink lots of water. Avoid breads, pastas, potatoes, and fatty condiments like mayo and sour cream.
