well you can be forigven for those things. according to the bible Hebrews 10:26,27 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. I think its saying if we are sinning willfully, knowing we will go to hell, yet choose to do so anyway, i think then you salvation can be lost.

God doesn't make mistakes, so to believe that someone who is truly saved can lose their salvation, is to say God made a mistake.

And there are NO ex-Christians, because God doesn't make mistakes. So many people pay lip service to God and Jesus, then leave, but that didn't make them a true Christian.

To be a Christian, you must accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and take up your cross and follow Jesus.

Faith without works is dead.

The Baptist Church comes to mind, concerning the statement "once saved, always saved", though many Christians believe, that God promises in the scriptures that we can be sure of our salvation. Since all people are sinners, and we are unable to save our selves, we have to rely on God's gift of salvation, gift of eternity with him, soley based on his kindness and goodness, and not on what we can do to earn it...because we could never do enough good to earn salvation. That puts the ball in God's court, so to speak. He is responsible for saving us. We are not able to save ourselves from the Abyss of Hell. Since it is not our job to save, once he saves us (redeems, purchases, pays for our soul with the death of his son) we are his. He is unwilling at that point to ever give us up or return us. The only problem we have then, is if we run away from him. Then he will let us go. But once God saves you, he can be counted on to continue to do so.

I believe it because I don't think God would say 'OK you re spotless, and saved from hell.Oh!I take that back you rotten bastard. You made a little mistake when thinking about joe over there!Off to hell with ya!"
I also see no indication in the scriptures that my salvation can be taken from me.

i believe once saved always saved because Jesus died for our sins and if we believe on him but that does not stop us as flesh from committing sins everyday so we have to ask forgiveness for those but our salvation is secure no one can take that away
