Which "prophet" told you this, Candy? Some people really want to give peace and love a bad name. And telling the future is never a very sure science. Gossip about things that actually happened is bad enough, but speculative gossip about the future is not very valid at all. Don't worry about it. If you trust God- by whatever name you call it- you'll be okay.

It is true that there will be an antichrist that will come on the scene. Many will beleive that he is the promised Messiah, but he will in fact be a very evil man who will eventually be possesed by the devil himself. He will come on the world when it is in chaos and appear to have the answers to all of the world's problems. He will be very charismatic and charming and will deceive many. He will initiate a seven year peace treaty with Israel and then break it halfway through. He will demand to be worshipped as God. He will also demand that every person on earth take some kind of mark that will allow them to buy and sell. Their choice will be to take the mark or either die by beheading. There is so much more to this subject, but it is described in the Bible as the worst time earth has ever seen. Many of the world events that are happening now were prophesied in the Bible as events that mark the beginning of the last days. I am certain that the antichrist will be coming on the scene soon. The important thing that you need to know is what will save you in these times. If you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you will be removed from this earth with the rest of the saints. If you do not accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you will be faced with a choice in these last days. You can take the mark that the antichrist demands and spend an eternity in hell (there is no forgiveness if you take the mark) or you can accept Jesus as your Lord and savior then and possibly face death, but spend an eternity with the Lord in heaven. I pray that you will choose to accept Jesus. It will be the best decision you ever make.

One approach would be to look at what the Bible says about Antichrists since there are several quotes that provide some clues:
1. Denies that Jesus is the Christ and denies the Father and the Son.
“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.”
King James Bible, 1 John 2:22
2. Denies that Jesus came in the flesh.
“And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”
King James Bible, 1 John 4:3
3. Is already in the world during the writing of the epistles of John {about 100 AD} and are former Christians.
“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.”
King James Bible, 1 John 2:18-19
The above quotes suggest that there is not only "a" antichrist but many antichrists. Some that exist earlier in history and others that existed later. In any case, using the above criteria it should be possible to recognize antichrist fairly well.

Imagine for a second, you have been exposed to God's love, but you have denied Him. What will you think when the antichrist comes? You'll prolly follow him because his miracles and words and such. This is why he is allowed to do this (this is my opinion of course). God gives us so many chances, and how many times have people turned their backs? The only people that will know the antichrist will be the followers of the only God and Lord Jesus Christ, because he has warned us. That is also why we must always carry His love around with us, so others see it and begin to ask for Him, then they will know of the end times, and will never believe the antichrist. Just my two cents. God Bless

The antichrist is used five times in the scripture. It is used by John to describe a spirit, or attitude - NOT a specific being or entity. Antichrist is anything that is written, spoken, or taught against Christ.
Jesus Christ is the savior. He is the only Messiah, and there have been many throughout the ages (See Acts 5 - re: Gaius speaking about the Egyptian who led many to their deaths in the wilderness) who fulfills every old testament prophecy concerning the coming Son of God.
Reputable witnesses (numerous) of the times to miracles, teachings, and events, prove historically that Jesus lived among us, was crucified, and rose from the dead. He is the Son of a God who cannot lie. Even God was heard by men to say "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased."

The anti-christ will make people believe that he is the messiah, but he won't necessarily call himself Jesus.
As the prophet Daniel writes: "And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (of years) and in the midst of the week he will end sacrifices and offerings, and set up an abomination of desolation, until the end that has been determined shall be poured out on him." (Daniel 9:27)
Paul tells us, "Do not let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day cannot come unless the rebellion takes place first and the man of sin, who is destined for destruction, is revealed. He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god and object of worship. As a result, he seats himself in the sanctuary of God and declares himself to be God." (II Thessalonians 2:3-4)
And finally, those who don't love the Truth will be deceived: "The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the power of Satan. He will use every kind of power, including miraculous signs, lying wonders, and every type of evil to deceive those who are dying, those who refused to love the truth that would save them. For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie. Then all who have not believed the truth but have taken pleasure in unrighteousness will be condemned. (II Thessalonians 2:9-12)

I'm sorry but this "prophecy" is self condeming. If you look at it you can see that no matter what, anyone coming forward with a great understanding of the bible and advocating peace will be discredited or killed by extreamist.
Christianity was set up to make sure man can never have peace as long as it exsists. Even if the whole world was Christian there would still be issues because of the way it was all layed out.

I hear that lately too, but I don't believe it. Christ is supposed
to come like the lightning flashing from the East to the West. So any attempt to fake being Christ would fail, and the anitchrist
won't be that dumb.
Like this guy Maitreya who people are calling the anitchrist. His symbol has the Wheel of Life in the middle in reverse, like
the Nazi sign. The antichrist won't do anything that obviously
stupid.

Get to know the word.
Dont just beleive people becaue they sound convincing, do some studying yourself and make sure what they say lines up with the word of God.
That goes for anyone, not just the antichrist.

Yes, this is true. The ONLY way to protect yourself is to accept Jesus as your saviour. This way when the anti christ comes, you will already be in heaven.
