When I first found out that I was pregnant with twins, I was in complete shock. These are, after all, my 6th & 7th children. I called my best friend. She said "God only gives you what you can handle." And I then thought "well...at least there's only two."
Right before my 12th week of pregnancy, my OB couldn't find one of the babies. 2 portables, countless probes...couldn't find him. Assumed it was Disappearing Twin Syndrome. I was heartbroken, cried every day for a month. As it turned out, the twins were laying face to face, and so close together, that you barely had to flip the probe to see the second one. I never lost the twin. I have been the happiest mommy ever since.
It's going to be hard. And I'm a little scared. But knowing that God trusted me with two more children, is a sign to me that God has more faith in me - then I do in myself. And I am definitely blessed.
