what would happen if there wasn't a number system?

example . we use numbers for time.... think divergently

without numbers.......then we would all probably have no homes, clothes, cars or anything................we need numbers for anything...........example: for homes and clothes and cars ur gonna need to measure the length of everything and know how long ur making the car to know what parts fit it.
