Preferrably nothing *too* religious...and my voice is either one of two extremes...really high in my head voice or extremely low in my chest voice (but I can't really use my head voice to sing low and vice-versa). I'm a first soprano, but I can belt alto. Also, I don't want to sing a really popular and over-done song--I don't want to be outsung by someone else who'd be doing the same thing. :)

Thanks!

I mean for a solo. Although, trying to do Carol of the Bells as a solo would be pretty funny--I wouldn't be able to take a breath through the whole thing! xD

I don't know about a holiday concert, but I got one of my ex-friends to have them play 'Another One Bites the Dust' as he and his now-exwife were coming back down the aisle after just being married. Does that sound okay?

"I'll be home for christmas ... but only in my dreams", if you can get a jazz renditon of that tune .. you could bring down the house.

Edit --- I found the lyrics!

I'll be home for Christmas,
You can count on me.
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents under the tree.
Christmas Eve will find me,
Where the love light gleams.
I'll be home for Christmas,
If only in my dreams.
Christmas Eve will find me,
Where the love light gleams.
I'll be home for Christmas,
If only in my dreams.
