my sister has 2 very young children.I do not know how long ago she picked up.It hurts me very much.I am in recovery 8 yrs. d.s.s. is involved afraid she will lose her kids.I would like to try an intervention.do not know how. I would be very greatful if someone out there could help me.

Gather your family and Friends and have her sit down and talk to her and believe me if she wants to change she can chage also have a acholoic counselor available in case you can go on the website and see an AA group and see if they can have someone come over for an intervention good luck to you

talk to her parents an family set a time for u all to meet at the same time. Invite ur sister over at the same time. Don't tell her you are inviting her over for an intervention. Tell her you are inviting her to hang out or that you have a problem and need her to come over and help or make up some other reason for her to come over at the same time. I would have everyone park far away so she doesn't see their cars.
Then everyone takes turns telling her how they feel and how they are worried about her. Then everyone asks her to join re-hap and a few of you drive her there.

Take thekids and show her tough love. There is Tough Love groups all around the USA and the world. Find your nearest branch.
