Plain baked potatoes are probably just fine. There's not much to go wrong with them, and I think they'd be OK. They might be a little dry or starchy, though, so I'd reheat them wrapped in a paper towel in the microwave.

Maybe, but why would you want to eat something that was left out all night? Is it that hard to bake another potato? NO! You can just nuke one in the microwave for a few minutes and voila you have a fresh baked potato that hasn't been sitting out all night.

I was a professional Chef for 14 years. We used to use leftover bakers to cut them in half, deep fry and then stuff them and feed it to the staff for staff meal. If I came in the next day, and the leftover bakers had been left out, I always threw them away. Potatoes have just enough sugar to create a great meal for bacteria.

I think it would depend on how long your night is.
I don't think a baked potato would spoil over night,It has nothing in it that would spoil that fast.
But , if it doesn't tast right, do not eat it.
